Our Teacher
I am Lisa Lamoureux and delighted to be your child's first grade teacher. This is my fifth year teaching at LRES. Home has always been where the Navy has sent us. Prior to relocating to Virginia, my husband and I lived in Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Florida and California. It is in the state of California in which I earned my teaching credentials in 1994, through Chapman University. I am also a graduate of East Carolina University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Our Classroom Family
Just like our parents, we have a job to do and that is to learn. We discussed what would be necessary in order to create an environment of learning. Together we decided on some basic beliefs.
Room 21 Promise
As a member of Room 21, I promise to:
* be kind to myself
* be kind to others
* do my best
so that my class will be a safe place to learn.
